Federal Transformers Company LLC (FTC) is a manufacturing company founded in January 1999 in Abu Dhabi, operating under ISO 9001:2015 standards. Throughout its existence, the company has cultivated a robust expertise in engineering, design, development, and the production of high-quality transformers, serving the dynamic electric power distribution sector in the UAE and the broader region.

All FTC products are meticulously designed, manufactured, and rigorously tested to meet both national and international standards, including IEC-60076, IEC-60076-11, IEC 61378, IEC-62271, ANSI C57, BS-171, EU Regulations 548, ENATS, among others. The manufacturing facility is equipped with a controlled, dust-free environment and employs cutting-edge technology.

The development of transformer designs is achieved through fully computerized techniques, utilizing the expertise of skilled engineers. Drawings are meticulously prepared using Auto CAD (2D) and Inventor (3D) software. Extensive analysis, guided by interactive computer programs, is conducted to ensure that designs align with customer specifications and relevant standards. FTC has conducted type tests on more than 48 distinct transformer types at independent laboratories in Europe.

FTC boasts a proven track record of delivering over 37,000 Transformers and Package Substations to various utilities across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and South America during its impressive 23-year history.

Federal Power Transformers LLC (FPT), established in 2006, is a company certified under ISO 9001:2015. We operate within the United Arab Emirates and maintain a dedicated facility at ICAD1 in Abu Dhabi, specializing in the production of power transformers.

FPT’s product range encompasses power transformers with capacities up to 100 MVA, specifically in the 132kV class. Our capabilities extend to include a comprehensive repair facility, offering the refurbishment of transformers and the overhaul of Tap Changers. Federal Switchgear is an ISO 9001:2008 company established in 2005 to cater to the increasing demand for Switchgear products by utilizing the potential of the Middle East as a manufacturing base. The Company has set up its busway manufacturing facilities in collaboration with Wilmar International Inc.

Federal Switchgear has the manufacturing capability to make feeder pillars up to 3000 A, main distribution boards, control cabinets, and different ratings of busways with steel or aluminum enclosures. The products are designed, manufactured, and tested to comply with national and international standards including IEC – 61439-1 / IEC 61439-5. The product designs are developed using fully computerized techniques and drawings are prepared using CAD software. Extensive analysis by interactive computer programs is used to obtain optimum designs that meet the requirements of the customer specifications and relevant standards.
